    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    PURPOSE/JOB SUMMARY:
    Responsible for providing administrative support to the region land department, under the supervision of the Land Admin Supervisor.

     

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate, process, and track workover, P&A, non-op and new well proposal AFEs
    • Liaison between corporate land administration and Midland region office
    • Record all land documents in the county and parish courthouses
    • Assist land department personnel on special projects
    • Research using Apache systems – Tobin Land System, CLand Reports, Well Portal, CLA Imaging, MapsNow
    • Filing documents in land files and scanning documents into the imaging system
    • General internet research: Texas Railroad Commission, State of New Mexico Oil Conservation Division, New Mexico State Land Office, University Lands, Drilling Info, Premier Data Services, IHS, etc.
    • Coordinate mass mailings, track certified mailings
    • Coordinate wire and check requests for lease bonus, vendor payments, cash calls
    • Create Land file folders

    Job Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

     

    • High School Diploma required; 4 year college degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience in an office environment
    • Strong personal computer skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Able to prioritize multiple projects. High degree of initiative and independent judgment
    • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Ability to work with employees and vendors as well as other disciplines. Strong skills as a coordinator
    • Capability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy
    • Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
