    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    The Drill Site Leader will serve the roll of “company man” on an Apache drill site including:

    • supervising all facets of drilling operations, vertical and horizontal drilling
    • casing and cementing operations
    • well placement, logistics planning and communications for equiptment, personnel and services
    • daily reporting of operations
    • cost accounting
    • operational logistics to minimize downtime and daily communicate both verbally and electronically with Drilling Engineers and Drilling Superintendents. 

    Candidate must have a strong safety culture and value the environmental concerns of both private land owners and Apache.  Must be well versed in the fundamentals of drilling vertical and horizontal wells.  

    Job Qualifications

    • 5+ years of supervising drilling operations in a company man role
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • Valid Driver's License
    • IADC Wel Control Certification
    • Basic Computer skills with proficiency in Wellview
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects in a multi-faceted work environment
