    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    Position Title: IT Marketing Applications Analyst

    Location: Houston, Texas

    Specific Responsibilities:

    This position is for an IT Marketing Applications Analyst, responsible for providing business, technical, and analytical support for OpenLink Endur or equivalent system.  The candidate will focus on maintaining, supporting and ensuring system integrity in an integrated rapidly changing environment. This position requires a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, solid written and verbal communications skills.

    This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

    • Interacting with business and business support teams to understand and troubleshoot issues, analyze potential resolutions, and test solutions;
    • Responsible for system upgrades and acceptance testing of new software releases including system configuration, testing, quality assurance and training of end users;
    • Interface support and enhancement testing;
    • Coordinate with vendor to test and implement corrections to existing functionality;
    • Create project plans, test plans, and coordinating efforts with business teams;
    • Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications and facilitating design sessions with the business and technical teams;
    • Document requirements to implement business process and technology solutions;
    • Actively participate in industry user groups to collaborate on the design and delivery of new core functionality.

    Job Qualifications

    Professional Qualifications & Experience:

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
    • 5 or more years of oil and gas industry experience, E&P experience is a plus.
    • CTRM Systems, either OpenLink Endur, Allegro, or equivalent System knowledge required.
    • Deep knowledge of AVS, JVS, SQL and .NET
    • Experience with Eclipse IDE
    • Experience with source code management tools, such as SVN and Tortoise SVN
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Project management experience is a plus.
    • Accounting experience is a plus
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
