    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    • Act as consultant to co-workers and management in matters related to Land systems analysis as well as business implications of the technology to the current and future business environment
    • Act as liaison between Corporate Land Administration, Region Land, IT, GIS, Accounting and software vendors for system upgrades, enhancements and system implementation of new modules 
    • Participate in the analysis, design, testing, implementation and support of Land application solutions to meet business objectives
    • Develop thorough understanding of assigned business unit objectives and the applications that support them
    • Create and document business processes and workflows
    • Monitor and work with IT and/or other system support personnel to resolve Land System integration issues
    • Prepare and monitor timelines
    • Partner with business community to define systems scope and objectives by conducting business requirements review.  Document requirements and assist development teams in implementing systems solutions 
    • Ensure business requirements are properly translated for in-house and/or outside software developers
    • Prepare on-site system assessments
    • Provide user support

    Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 10+ years’ experience
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Expert level experience in Tobin/Lease Data & KSYS and Quorum Land Management software preferred.  Mapping systems (GIS) experience a plus. 
    • In-depth knowledge of systems applications, testing and support for maintenance of the corporate lease and contract system
    • Proficient in Excel; Ad hoc reporting tools such as TLS Define Set, Quorum QQM, Sequel, etc a plus  
    • Ability to work independently 
    • Regular on-site attendance essential for position
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision
    • Excellent communication skills and cooperative approach to issues a must 
    • Must be comfortable in lead position
    • Facilitate teamwork across organizational lines 
    • Should possess a positive outlook with focus on the future   
    • Occasional travel required
