    Key Duties/Responsibilities

     

    Provide SCADA support to Apache Midstream teams for design, development, and integration of Wonderware SCADA platform to gather, process, disseminate, and analyze field telemetry information. Must be able to communicate and work effectively to deliver an HMI that optimizes end user ability to process data.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in SCADA/automation system designs and integration.
    • Design and build SCADA HMI for midstream processes and the data from automation controls.
    • Investigating, analyzing and correcting complex SCADA systems related problems.
    • Technical problem solving skills to identify problems and implement solutions
    • Assist with training of field personnel to increase proficiency of the automation systems and with troubleshooting techniques to improve preventive maintenance to prevent avoidable downtime
    • Good interpersonal and communications skills; able to work with diverse teams
    • <20% travel

    Job Qualifications

    • 4 year degree in Electrical, Automation, Computer Engineering or similar with at least 8 years of experience in oil/gas.
    • Ability to develop reports using Dream Reports, Crystal or similar applications.
    • Strong knowledge of database structures and the ability to develop SQL queries.
    • Strong Wonderware experience, especially in 2014 R2 System platform. Extensive .NET scripting expertise, familiar with Fisher ROCs, experience with Allen Bradley programming.
    • Good understanding of API RP 1165, API RP 1167, IEEE and ISA 18.2 standards is preferred.
