    Key Duties/Responsibilities



    Review, analyze, verify, and evaluate leases, contracts, and related documentation to ensure compliance with all terms and obligations for maintaining lease asset base for current and future production. Set-up and maintain all essential data in Lease and Contracts systems. 




    • Analyze and process lease terms, obligations, ownership information, land contracts, and other applicable documentation in order to facilitate timely and accurate set-up and maintenance of lease data. Maintain lease records for the life-cycle of the lease.
    • Perform monthly review of payment, expiration, and obligation calendars. Take action on date sensitive obligations.
    • Ensure procedural compliance with all terms and obligations necessary for maintaining leases for current and future oil and gas production, support activities and asset sales.
    • Collaborate with GIS and region land to resolve mapping issues.
    • Maintain ownership and obligations related to mineral and surface assets in Corporate Laden database, validating proper interfaces with other company systems, assets and departments to ensure compliance with all lease and contract obligations.
    • Partner with the Region Land Department to ensure awareness of new lease plays and any issues related to our ownership of existing leasehold and mineral acreage.
    • Process AFEs in a timely manner by setting up or verifying JOA.
    • Maintenance of SEC required acreage reporting and activity status of leasehold, minerals and surface estates.
    • Participate in the planning and support of Acquisitions and Divestitures.

    Job Qualifications



    • Bachelor’s degree




    • 3 or more years of industry related experience
    • Ability to speak and understand oilfield terminology



    • Excellent analytical, organization, and verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision

    • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

    • Tobin/Lease Data & KSYS experience a plus, but not required
