Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate wire and check requests for surface owner payments;
  • Review and submit vendor invoices for payment;
  • Assist Surface Landmen with preparation, review, correspondence, research, and administration of surface land agreements;
  • Initiate, coordinate, process, and track Facility and Pre Construction AFEs (Authority for Expenditure);
  • Liaison between Corporate Land Administration (CLA)/Accounting and Region;
  • Assist department personnel with special projects as needed;
  • Prepare eLPRs (electronic Lease Purchase Reports) for Surface Agreements, process lease bonus and surface damage payments;
  • General use of Apache Systems:  SAP, DataNow, AFE Solution, Tobin Land System (“TLS”), CLA Imaging, MapsNow;
  • Scanning and Filing documents in Land Files and Corporate Land Imaging system;
  • Electronic Property Memorandum (“EPM”) creation for new facilities;
  • Coordinate mass mailings, track certified mailings.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required;
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience preferred;
  • 2 + years of experience preferred;
  • Ability to speak and understand oilfield terminology;
  • Understanding of land and legal documents;
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects;
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgment;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities;
  • Ability to work with employees and vendors as well as other disciplines. Strong skills as a coordinator among different departments;
  • Capability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy;
  • Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
