    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    • Work closely with contract broker on leases purchased, bonus amounts and reconciliation of funds (wire transfer) provided to the contract broker for lease bonus
    • Utilize the eLPR system to number and transmit leases to CLA, send the original documents to CLA and where applicable prepare a separate lease file for Region Land
    • Assist Landmen in analysis and interpretation of various agreements including Participation Agreements, Exploration Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Farmouts, Assignments and Leases
    • Assist Landmen in researching files/data to determine working interest and net revenue interest in order to facilitate projects including the drilling of wells, recompletion of wells and plugging of wells
    • Assist Landmen in preparing assignments, leases, agreements, etc.
    • Assist Landmen in preparation and completion of all operations associated with operations from election mailouts to EPM’s
    • Assist in analysis and confirmation of properties being acquired or divested
    • Monitor contracts and prepare request for payment (checks, wire transfers, cash calls) to lessors, contract brokers and partners
    • Record various documents including leases, assignments, memorandums and pooling affidavits
    • Prepare internal correspondence related to non-operated properties and communicate elections
    • Maintain the Fee Mineral Database and update changes due to new leases, releases and/or assignments
    • Assist in research related to monthly rental calendars for approval by Landmen and Land Manager
    • Review and verify brokerage invoices for accuracy before approval by landmen and Land Manager

    Job Qualifications

    • 3-5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
    • Proficient in a given area of land administration
    • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
    • Ability to work proficiently in team settings
    • Proficient in all Microsoft applications
    • BA/BS degree a plus
