Key Duties/Responsibilities

The IT Customer Support Analyst I is responsible for providing high quality IT customer service to Apache’s Egypt offices users including users that operate out of our joint venture partners in Egypt.  This dynamic role will require collaboration with other teams in Egypt and our corporate offices in Houston, Texas.




  • Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to Apache’s end users using Service-Now and other tools to manage the end-user support process, escalating support requests where needed to the appropriate team in Egypt or Houston.
  • Work and collaborate with other members of the customer support team and other IT teams within the Apache organization. This includes collaboration with our joint venture partners in Egypt.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting for software and hardware issues in a Windows 7, Office 2013, Microsoft Skype for Business, Citrix and industry related software packages.
  • Setup, support and troubleshoot mobile devices
  • Execute hardware, software and OS installations/upgrades
  • Provide assistance and support when needed for audio and video conferences
  • Answer helpdesk line as necessary
  • Work as part of on-call rotation as required

Job Qualifications

Job Requirements:



  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Good English verbal, written and client facing communication skills is a must
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor

Skills Required:

  • Must have good understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, drivers, applications and their interaction
  • Candidate will have an understanding of supporting the following:
    • Windows 7, 64 and 32 bit.
    • MS Office Suite 2010, 2013 and Office 365
    • Internet Explorer
    • Understand basic networking (TCP/IP)
    • Citrix
  • Experience with Active Directory a plus!
  • Experience with Service-Now a plus!
